Henry Ford was asked on the occasion of his fiftieth wedding anniversary, "What is the formula for a good marriage?" He replied, "The same as for a successful car: stick to one model."
Here is a little more of my kitchen...I have had so much fun redecorating and making the valances, and curtains. I actually love being in the kitchen so much more now. I am looking for to painting it in the summer.

Combine potatoes, soups and water in a pot. Cover and cook on medium heat until potatoes are tender. Then I pour everything in a blender to make a smooth, then back to pot. Spoon into bowls to serve; topped with garnishes
We have had this trash can I think since we got married...almost 8 years. I have always hated it, but I don't think a new trash can is in the immediate future so I decided to stencil it...hahaha I think it's cute enough to keep now (for a little while longer at least) In between the stenciling I looked out my deck and saw a beautiful blue bird show being put on just for me...;0) So pretty they are.
I took a couple of picture of the progress here in my kitchen. I have made a couple of the valances, and a runner for the table, still a couple of drapes to make and the valances for the slider. Also a couple of things to hang on the wall too. I probably won't paint till summer considering the thought of 3 little ones in the house with freshly painted walls honestly scares me.
I was going through my on Victoria magazines which I always do...I probably have reread them over a 100 times over the years. Anyway I was looking in the back at advertisements and found this website and of course looked it up. It is beautiful, if you are looking for blue and white and pink and white then here you go. It's so pretty. So I figured I'd share it with the world. Please check it out, and let me know what you think. Here is the website : http://www.bluecalico.com/store/welcome
