My wonderful husband knows that I love toile, transfer plates. I started collecting them this year and am becoming obsessed with them. Yesterday my husband came home from work with a new addition for me. It is beautiful. The picture doesn't give it justice but believe me it is beautiful. So I will share my small but beloved collection. The top one is the new one my wonderful hubby bought me. Thank you my love.

While in church the other day....

ON Sunday during worship time we sang old songs from our forefathers about our country. The songs that remind you (even though people resist) our country was founded on the BIble, and the faith in God. God Bless America, Our Country Tis Of Thee, and many more. I started crying thinking of the status of our country today and thought how far off we have gone, and how unfortunately we have abused the favor that God placed on our country. Then today I read an email that described Billy Graham prayer over our beautiful country and see that I am not alone in my thinking and how true he is. I will cut and paste the part that moved me and I believe that is the state of our country. I know that many of you will not agree with me....but I am using my chance of free speech to hold fast to what this country was truely founded on.

Enjoying a summer day

I babysit my great friends son, but now that her daughter is out of school I have also started babysitting her daughter too. So what to do with 5 kiddos ready to tear apart my house. Well plan an all day playfest outside. Water guns, pool, playset, tents, and sandboxes...busy little bees.

The mass media often trivialize everyones lives and achievements, narrowing the litmus test of female worth to one question: Does she have crow's feet, or dimples on her thighs, is one cheating with that one? And yet women endorse such humilation of others to scratch an itch of jealousy within themselves.

Not Me ...Nope

Okay So welcome to Not me Monday.....I so didn't do these things I am about to mention

I did not wear makeup to my 5k race just to sweat it off...nope not me

I did not photoshop the above picture of myself from the race

I so did not steal my husband's soda...after timeless times of telling my children how bad soda is for them...I would never

I didnot eat a mouth full of chocolate chips in secret because I needed a chocolate fix...sheesh no way not me

I did not tell my husband I think I hear the baby calling right before he jumped in the shower then snuck in before him because I wanted to have a shower first. Who would do such a thing.

I did not drag the kids to Mcdonald's today because I really really wanted a big mac and can't remember the last time I got one, and sometimes it just hits the spot. What no way not me.

I did not scare the people around me during my race because my friend and I prayed out loud and sang hymns while we ran.

Oh and the kicker I did not miss church on Sunday so I could run a 5K race. Nope not me



Whew I guess confession is good for the soul.....but I didn't do any of the above ;0)

Since I was little I was drawn to her. I used to watch her movies and cut out pictures in magazines and make collages. I have always thought she was the epitome of class, and femininity. To this day I look up to her style and grace.
