Part of lesson was about snow...and because we happened to have snow we were able to make snow cones. Colby scooped (clean) snow from our deck, and we poured Kool-aid cherry flavor and enjoyed a simply treat.

Snow cones....brrr but yummy
Part of lesson was about snow...and because we happened to have snow we were able to make snow cones. Colby scooped (clean) snow from our deck, and we poured Kool-aid cherry flavor and enjoyed a simply treat.
Baked ziti: Super simple but yummy
Boil ziti, put aside
cut up sweet italian sausage and cook in pan, make your tomato sauce, while cooking sausage. when all is done mix together in a baking dish add a 1/2 bag of cheddar cheese, half a bag of provolone, top off with more cheese. Bake 350 for 20-25 mins
Apple Crisp...one of my version :
Apple crisp recipe:
6 peeled apples, 1 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup oatmeal, 1/2 cup flour, 1/2 cup butter soften, 1 tsp cinn, and nutmeg, 1/4 water.
Oven at 350, arrange apples in baking dish, blend remaining ingredients except water. Spread evenly of apples, pour water evenly over topping bake 45 mins till crisp
Homemade White Bread...delish
Recipe:
1 cup of hot water not boiling (110 degrees)
1/3 cup sugar, 3/4 teaspoon salt,, 2 tablespoons oil, 3 cups of flour, 1 tablespoon dry yeast
Dissolve sugar in water, stir in yeast mix, the let it sit for 15 mins to create foam, then mix in oil. Pour into large mixing bowl, add flour, the salt. Start to mix for about 10 mins, then cover, place it somewhere warm let rise for about an hour, the work it again, to remove air, form into bread pan, and again let rise for 30 mins, the bake at 350 for 25-30 mins until brown.

So it begins....
I had been contemplating on setting a blog up..on the enjoyment of being a child of God, a wife, and a homeschooling mom. So I am taking the plunge and diving in and hope you enjoy as I will in posting my recipes, ideas, opinions, and little tidbits of ideas that I hope will make your day a little brighter and easier. So here I am being myself and hope you welcome me into the blog world with open arms.
