Yummy Pumpkin Latte
Enjoy this coffeehouse-style drink anytime. Pumpkin melts right into the coffee and adds body and natural flavor. Creamy fat free evaporated milk adds richness and calcium, without adding extra fat. This is a great satisfying specialty beverage for all year round. It is very filling...and thick but mmmm yummy
Ingredients
1 cup strong coffee
2/3 cup Evaporated Fat Free Milk
1/4 cup 100% Pure Pumpkin ( I always have Libby cans around because I love pumpkin)
1 to 2 teaspoons granulated sugar ( I use splenda...and add way more...I love it sweet)
1/8 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice or ground cinnamon
Directions
COMBINE coffee, evaporated milk, pumpkin, sugar and pumpkin pie spice in 2-cup microwave-safe glass measure or small saucepan. Heat until very hot (if using stove, use medium-low heat and stir occasionally). To make a foamy top to your latte much like your favorite coffee house creation, prepare as above. Carefully transfer hot mixture into blender container; cover with lid and then hold down lid with folded towel or potholder. Blend for 1 minute. Then of course I top mine with whip cream....hehe yes fat free if need be.
Enjoy

In the days you just feel like your not you are!
I came across this on a great site and thought I share it. Here's the website if your interested http://www.charlottemasonhelp.com/
YOU ARE CHANGING THE COURSE OF HISTORY
When the sink is full of dirty dishes only minutes after you cleaned the kitchen,
realize this--You are changing the course of history.
When you emulate the Proverbs 31 woman and your lamp truly did not go out the night before because of a sick child,
know this--You are changing the course of history.
When that new outfit that you spent three weeks sewing for your dear child is stained and ruined three days later,
remember this--You are changing the course of history.
When the house is falling apart, company is on the way and Dear Husband doesn't see your need for a helping hand,
take hold of this--You are changing the course of history.
When you discover that the perfect curriculum you spent too much money on is NOT so perfect and your child is crying over her lessons,
be encouraged with this--You are changing the course of history.
When your children scored low on the CAT or SAT, ABC, or the XYZ and the relatives and neighbors are convinced that you are ruining your children's lives,
believe this--You are changing the course of history.
When you're tempted to send them off to the new little private school down the road that is offering a wonderful discount,
understand this--You are changing the course of history.
When the 'high school' years loom over you like a specter and you realize you are inadequate for the job,
don't forget this--You are changing the course of history.
When you feel you have searched the city and still can't find a kindred heart who shares your passion,
listen to this-- You are changing the course of history.
When your quiver is full but at 4O plus years of age you realize another arrow is headed your way,
be thankful in this--You are changing the course of history!
...and through it all, The One who sees all, quietly whispers in a loving voice, "I know, my Daughter. I know."
Listen and you will hear.

Life Abundant?
Life Abundant?
What is life? Whether you are a believer or non believer life is still the same. Life is paying your bills, taking care of your spouse, raising your children, it's going through a misscarriage, it watching your father almost die in front of you, it's taxes, a boss to put up with, it's waiting results from health tests done on your child, decisions to make daily, Life is a series of emotions, a mountain before the valley. Christ came to give you life; life more abundant. If I could sum up the christian life experience into one word it wouldn't be joyful, nor victorious, not sad, or depressing even though I have felt all that at one moment in time no I would describe it as "interesting" never a dull moment in my walk with Christ. If you want a boring life then I highly recommend you don't ever accept Christ, but if you want an interesting life that when you sit back and reflect you are amazed what you have seen and done then come to Christ. When you heart is broken He promises to mend it. When you are going through a dry valley and never see an end He will lead you through. When you rejoice He rejoices with you. For every season in your life He will be there with you, and to be honest the greatest ride is when you allow Him to reign...or better yet lead the path for your life He will not disappoint, instead He'll give you the greatest ride ever. He gives you a heart for the brokenhearted, gives you a light for the ones in darkness, give you arms for the forgotton, give you love for humanity. So I have discovered that a spiritual journey is a a lot like a poem. You don't merely recite a poem or analyze it intellectually. You dance it, sing it, cry it, feel it on your skin and in your bones. You move with it and feel it's caress. It falls on you like a teardrop or wraps around you like a smile. It lives in the heart and body as well as the spirit and the head." So are you living life to the fullest...better yet is it the world's standards or God's?
